Perfect beaches? Check! But there’s a lot more to Mallorca than crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Come experience the real Mallorca – far away from the busy tourist spots. We pedal on small rural roads, between olive and orange plantations, and stop at vineyards to taste the island’s amazing whites! Mallorca is reaping with amazing landscape, small cycling roads and some of the best Chefs on the Med!
We start our ride in the center of the Island, and quickly start climbing to the only hill south of the Tramuntana. We’ll take in the beautiful views from the Monasterio de Cura, the head downhill to try local delicacies in Porreras. The afternoon ride takes us on tiny roads of Mallorca’s agricultural center towards Manacor.
Our second day is a gorgeous loop ride to the southern coast of Mallorca. We’ll stop to enjoy the Cala Romantica, as perfect a beach as you’ll find anywhere!
As we start to head north towards the hilly Tramuntana, we’ll stop by to taste some of Mallorca’s amazing and undervalued wines. We’ll pass plenty of Almond, Orange and Olive plantations, always following the stone walls that make Mallorca riding so charming.
From the picturesque town of Pollença, we’ll head towards the jewel of Mallorca: Cap Formentor! This picture perfect stretch of coast is simply too beautiful to miss; the sinuous road towering above the white cliffs is what made Mallorca famous!
On day five we’ll see why all European cyclists come here to train. Apart from the perfect weather and great food, the Tramuntana is a cycling paradise. We’ll head towards Port Soller, a charming white enclave between the green mountains and deep azure sea.
One more day in the Tramuntana, one more day of epic riding! From the charming village of Deia we’ll follow the coast towards Palma, endless views of the Med on our right, and the high mountains on our left. We’ll stop to taste the delicious wines of Bodega Son Vives, then finish with a gorgeous downhill to Port Andrax!
